Chris Brown Hit with $50-Million Lawsuit for Alleged Assault After Concert
Chris Brown is facing a $50-million lawsuit after allegedly attacking and brutally beating four men following his concert at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The lawsuit, filed in Harris County, names Brown, Live Nation Worldwide, Sinko Ceej, Hood Boss, and Yella Beezy as defendants.
The plaintiffs, Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush, and Damarcus Powell, were granted a temporary restraining order and sought a temporary injunction to prevent the defendants from tampering with evidence related to the incident. Personal injury attorney Tony Buzbee, who is representing the plaintiffs, stated that multiple police reports have been filed and at least one of the men remains hospitalized.
Buzbee also highlighted Brown’s history of violence, citing previous arrests and accusations of assault. The lawsuit aims to obtain justice for the victims and put an end to the alleged behavior described in the lawsuit.
The alleged assault took place backstage after Brown’s concert, with the men claiming they were attacked without provocation. Brown and his entourage reportedly surrounded the plaintiffs, throwing chairs, kicking, stomping, and beating them.
Brown, who gained notoriety after assaulting Rihanna in 2009, has had numerous legal issues over the years, including altercations with other celebrities and allegations of sexual assault. Despite his legal troubles, Brown continues to release music and tour.
A hearing for the latest case has been scheduled for August 4 in Houston. Brown has expressed frustration with the impact of his legal troubles on his career but remains grateful for his dedicated fan base.
