Actor Nick Pasqual arrested for stabbing ex-girlfriend 20 times, caught trying to flee to Mexico
Actor Nick Pasqual, known for his work in Hollywood, has found himself in the midst of a shocking and disturbing incident. Pasqual has been accused of stabbing his estranged girlfriend, award-winning makeup artist Allie Shehorn, a staggering 20 times in a brutal attack at her home in Sunland, California.
The incident, which took place on May 23, left Shehorn with severe injuries, including slashes to her neck, arms, and abdomen. She was discovered by her surrogate mother in a bloody scene later that day. Pasqual, who reportedly met Shehorn on the set of Rebel Moon, was allegedly attempting to flee the country into Mexico following the attack.
Pasqual has since been arrested in Texas and charged with one count of attempted murder, one count of first-degree residential burglary with a person present, and one count of injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend, or child’s parent. If convicted, he could face a life sentence in prison.
The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office revealed that Shehorn had recently filed a restraining order against Pasqual, and he has been accused of inflicting great bodily injury upon her under circumstances involving domestic violence. The release also stated that Pasqual personally used a knife during the commission of the crime before fleeing the scene.
District Attorney George Gascón expressed his sympathies for the victim and emphasized the importance of holding the perpetrator accountable for their actions. Shehorn, who has worked on projects like Mean Girls, Rebel Moon, and Babylon, had to undergo multiple surgeries for her injuries and spent several days in intensive care before being transferred to a different part of the hospital.
This tragic incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of domestic violence, and authorities are committed to ensuring that justice is served in this case. As Shehorn continues her journey to recovery, the support and resources of the District Attorney’s office are extended to her during this difficult time.
