Adrian Grenier on Leaving Hollywood for a Grounded Lifestyle in Texas
Hollywood star Adrian Grenier has made a major lifestyle change by leaving California behind for the more grounded atmosphere of Texas. The “Entourage” actor, now 47, decided to make the move a few years ago and hasn’t looked back since.
In an interview on “Today with Hoda & Jenna,” Grenier shared that after two decades in Hollywood and growing up in New York, he felt it was time for a change. He and his wife Jordan Roemmele moved to their home outside Austin, Texas in 2020, where they are now raising their 9-month-old son, Seiko.
Grenier expressed his excitement about committing to his family and living closer to nature. He described Texas as having a down-to-earth vibe with no social climbing or status-seeking, which he found refreshing compared to the pressures of city life.
While Grenier has stepped away from the Hollywood spotlight, he hasn’t completely closed the door on his acting career. He now takes on roles more selectively, prioritizing projects that he can be proud of and that his son can watch and be proud of as well.
The actor also shared how becoming a father has profoundly impacted his life, saying that the love he feels for his son is so expansive that he feels like he’s going to burst. Grenier’s decision to prioritize family and a more grounded lifestyle in Texas showcases a new chapter in his life and career.
